Enjoy the rain swetheart, it's in the 90s in West Hollywood during yoga class I was sweating in spots I forgot I had skin. Enjoy the cool, cool rain! Besides they bring spring flowers. Reminds me of a bad joke. "If April showers bring May flowers want do May flowers bring? answer: Pilgrims."

Perhaps the rain is indeed a good thing, as I would love the flowers we have now -- and so many; I can't remember such a lush April -- to last through May. Rhode Island is currently glowing with flowers ... such an unpredictable month. This really is quite a change from the blizzard we got about six or seven years back.
Some of my family came on the Mayflower! Which is, I suppose, the only reason I find the joke vaguely funny.
I hope it cools down a bit in Hollywood. Thanks for writing, Yoga Gal!
