Books and Blogging on Too Nice a Day to Be Blogging

Yesterday I saw a hardcover copy of The Mystery of the Third Lucretia, in Barnes and Noble -- I always find myself really excited to see the hardcover edition of a book I've reviewed. There is just something so gratifying about it. I actually found my review for the book on Barnes and Noble's website, if you would like to take a look.

The actual author of the book has a really fun website (though it's only really much fun if you've read the book, which you should) -- www.susanrunholt.com.

Rhode Island today is wonderfully, amazingly, incredibly warm -- not unlike the last couple of days, but for me, this kind of day just doesn't stop being wonderful and amazing and incredible!

Ah, I'm glad I reminded myself. Why am I on the Internet?

Emily, I'm so glad you like my book and my website! Your review was wonderful, and I'm most gratified. I love having fans! And it's nice to know the book has made it into stores in Rhode Island. B&N seems to be stocking it, Borders not so much.

Ms. Runholt --

Reviewing books is a privilege, because I am so often given novels I would not otherwise have thought to read! In the case of Lucretia, I was convinced I didn't like mysteries. Kari and Lucas proved me wrong!

And you are obviously having such fun with the characters, giving them their own MySpace pages and everything. I love to know that an author loves her people as much as I do.

I do hope you'll stop by my blog every once and a while -- I was very excited to find your comment on here!

Best,

~Emily
